 Scoutmaster's Welcome:
On behalf of Troop 464, Woodland Hills, CA I would like to welcome everybody to our
exciting Web page. Greetings! My name is Alex Balian and I am the Scoutmaster of Troop
464. I am quite excited to be able to talk about how great Troop 464 is through the Web
page since it can reach so many people at once.
First of all the primary goal of our troop is to have FUN through scouting. We achieve
this by insuring a very strong "boy run" presence in our troop. This is
accomplished by have scout leaders who are supported and guides by very experience and
qualified adults leaders, all of which bring a complete dirvisfied background into the
troop. The structure that this troop exist and operates is with a new scout patrol, three
scout patrols, and a venturing crew. At this time, we are also exploring the possibility
of venturing program which will allow boys and girls, 14 years and older to join. In all
parts of the troop we have strong boy scout leaders which are supported by trained and
qualified adult leaders. We have over 14 adult leaders in all positions present to help
and support the scouts.

Through the Senior Patrol Leader and patrol leaders, the
troop plans major outings of all kinds at least once a month. Past outings can be viewed
as you brows through our Web page. The philosophy practiced in these meetings is that the
scouts are to communicate with the scout leaders to plan events. This is a very important
factor practiced in Troop 464.
There are many things that I could talk about this exciting troop, however, the best way
is to see for yourself. Come visit us. We meet every Wed. night at
7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall located on Fallbrook Ave at the corner of Ventura
and Fallbrook. Everyone is welcome.
