THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving is a time of sharing. It’s a day of thanks for our ancestors. Thanksgiving is a great holiday. There is a lot to be thankful about.
Blake S
On Thanksgiving my family and I go south to San Diego. Thanksgiving gives me a chance to be with my family. I am thankful to be with my family. We have a great time.
Scott B
It’s one of the only times when my whole family can get together and give thanks. Thanksgiving is a day to remember how our ancestors lived and survived through the days.
Brian B
To me, Thanksgiving is a time to get together with family and friends. Thanksgiving is also a time of great feast when everyone stuffs their face until they can’t eat anymore and then they eat some more. It’s a very fun time and I love the food and the people. The best part of all is it gets better every year.
Kyle L
Thanksgiving is a time when you give thanks to all the things that you have in your life and all the help and love your parents give you.
Mike E
All I want is for my children to have a warm room with a lock on the door, and for my wife and I to be happy in a house that belongs to me.
Lyon
(Lyon is a 20 year old homeless meth addict, living on the streets of
Hollywood. I met him through
a documentary-style commercial I was filming at the end of November.
His wife and 6 month old child had been killed in a car accident a
year ago…on Thanksgiving weekend…we all have MUCH to be thankful for.
Hug your kids! John

Please remember that it is time to recharter. Due to the prior rechartering in March, and so many boys joining mid-year, please see Pauline Crane or Karen Osterheldt to determine the amount due with your son’s rechartering. The fee for adults will be $7. The registration form and money is due in the Council Office by December 15th. So, please see Pauline Crane or Karen Osterheldt ASAP!!!
Thanks to all the Scouts who worked so hard selling popcorn. The Troop as a whole sold over $1,800. One-third of that goes into the individual boy’s account toward next year’s summer camp. A special thank you to Jared W and Mike E who stayed long after everyone else had left on our last boothing day. Because of them, I had NO popcorn to bring back home (for which I am eternally grateful)!
