Greetings to all scouts, I hope the first quarter of year 2000 is going well. Our troop, as always, is going strong with lots of activities happening. After an exciting time skiing up at Snow Summit in February, our troop is gearing up for out March outing at Verdugo Oaks Boy Scout Camp near Frazer Mountain. I would like to see all our scouts attend to sharpen up on our camping skills, eating skills, and prepare for Scout Camporee in April.
In March, we will be learning about Indian lore which will be put on by Carol Fischer. We also will be visiting the Churmash Indian Museum the first part of April.
In April, our troop will be preparing the whole month for Scout Camporee. This is quite a big event for all our new scouts where we will be camping, eating and competing in all sorts of games with the whole district. It will be lots of fun.
Well that's enough for now, see you all at the meetings and outings.
