JUNCAL TRAIL BACKPACK

• Backpack - June 26-28: Juncal Trail/Jameson Reservoir (near Montecito)
  If you didn't go you missed a great trip!  After a long winding drive in the mountains behind Santa Barbara, we camped overnight at Juncal Camp.  At the crack of dawn... well maybe a little later... we hit the trail.  Beautiful scenery, Jameson Reservoir, Alder creek, and finally Alder campground.  We spent the day lounging around, wading up the creek into the many pools, and swatting the bugs.  Would have hiked but the trail above the camp was still knee deep in poison oak.  Even saw two rattle snakes.
